Violin from the workshop of Leo Aschauer, who was one of the most talented and well-respected master violin makers in the town of Mittenwald, Germany.

Asschauer made this top-class German violin in his own workshop in the year of 1946. The incredibly fine tonewoods used for this masterpiece produce a gorgeous and rich sound. The maple back features an incredibly tight flaming pattern, which dances in the light thanks to thee skillful varnish applicaton.
