French Violin, Copy of G.B. Guadagnini

This violin is a rare replica of a violin by G.B. Guadagnini. Labelled as being made in Paris, this violin was actually commissioned for and labelled as “Paul Beuscher” – which has been identified as being used by the workshop of Jerome Thibouville-Lamy, based in Mirecourt.

Excellently-preserved golden varnish, clean craftsmanship, and a broad, robust sound. For a J.T.L. Violin this instrument truly defies expectations.
