Colin Mezzin Master French Violin c.1928

Fine Vintage French made violin by Colin Mezzin, labelled Ch. J. B. Collin-Mézin Luthier Grand Prix – Exposition Universelle 1900 Paris 1928.  This violin is in excellent condition with a warm and powerful tone character. Its body is based on his personal moddelling, in which Colin-Mezzin won the Violin Gold Medal at the Paris Exhibitions in 1900, 2-piece back, light orange spirit varnish.
