Amati Viola – “Stainer A”

Amati Advanced “Stainer #A” Viola is the next-step-up viola from the #B model with older timber body for better resonance.

The body shape of this “Stainer #A” is based on the famous violin made by the German maker, Jacobus Stainer in the 16th century.  It has a thick and powerful tone which enables the player to create a more complex dynamic within different colour/tone flavours.  With the German spruce top and maple back, Stainer #A is hand varnished in the fashion of the Renaissance antique finish. This violin is setup with the French Aubert Bridge with the Dominant Strings fitted to produce the perfect sound.
