An extremely popular tutor, taking the student through the early stages of playing technique up to early exercises in the fifth, sixth and seventh positions (in the Tenor Clef). A basic degree of Music Theory is assumed, the student is expected to be familiar with the notes of the Bass Clef, Note Lengths, Key and Time Signatures etc.
