In 1999, a music teacher, Queensland Conservatorium Graduate, established a music teaching academy in Brisbane Southside area. From this idea Vivace Music was born. We opened to the public as an 8 studio Musical Education Centre in Sunnybank Hills. Through our students we began to appreciate the need for quality and reasonably priced instruments. In 2001, this music studio has expand and begin to sell pianos, keyboards, string instruments and print music publications. Over the years, this store has grown to become a truly “one stop music shop” as Vivace Music’s first instrumental store, providing a wide & diverse range of musical instruments and equipment as well as instrument repair and services.

After our first store opened in Sunnybank Hills, 2014 saw the need for a delicate large piano showroom in Brisbane, Vivace Music then launched our 2nd store in MacGregor for our piano customers. In 2015, our 3rd store was opened at Sunnybank Plaza Shopping Centre as Brisbane’s largest musical home for instruments including Guitars, Drums, Audio Tech, Amplifies, PA, Keyboard and more. This 3rd store soon moved to Compton Road, Underwood in 2018 providing our customers a even better shopping environment and comfort.

We saw the need for a dedicated String Specialty store and in 2023 launched Vivace Violins. All of our 4 stores are located in stand alone commercial buildings with plenty of car parking available for our customers.
