Description

This suite of contrasting movements is sure to fire the imaginations of your younger string players! Tremolo, pizzicato, harmonics, tapping and even screaming are just some of the fun things a beginning ensemble will really find fun.  “Bumps in Dark” will really have the listeners on the edge of their seats!  The gentle and pensive “Far Away Dreams”  will allow younger players to explore the more lyrical sonorities in their playing. “Shooting Stars” brings both a feeling of excitement and wonderment as your orchestra contemplates various celestial bodies.  The melodic interest throughout the suite is shared around various sections of the orchestra making for a great dynamic within the ensemble.
