Description
Marcello Bellei, is a famous Cremonese violin maker and teacher in the violin Making School of Pieve di Cento (Bologna), Italy. He has a fantastic pedigree and maker’s lineage, having studied under Renato Scrolavezza.
He won 2nd prize in the 8th National Violin Making Competition in Baveno 2001; 2nd prize in the violin section at the Anlai Violin Making Competition in Cremona 2015; “Best Acoustic” Award in the Triennale Violin Making Competition in Cremona 2021.
This violin produces a beautiful textured and powerful sound. It projects with ease, and plays exceptionally well under the left hand, promoting dexterity.
